The itinerary, of great interest, intends to reconstruct the historical, cultural and artistic events, as well as the transformations of Verona as a military town.
Austrian Verona:
starting from Piazza Bra' with its imposing neoclassical Palazzo Barbieri, once the Austrian headquarters in our city, the itinerary takes you to the most important locations of the Italian Wars of Independence, such as Palazzo Carli where the Austrian Field Marshall Radetzky lived when he was in command of the Lombard-Veneto, to the Arsenale, the city gates, the fortifications and much more.
